Lake Louisa State Park offers visitors an opportunity to explore beautiful, open vistas of rolling hills, valleys, and lakes in the heart of the Central Florida Ridge. The park features six lakes, two streams, 25 miles of hiking trails, 23 miles of biking trails, a 7 mile scenic drive, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and picnicking. The scenery along the trails varies from towering cypress trees in the wetlands to wildflower-covered fields in the uplands. Lake Louisa, the largest of the lakes at the park, features a sandy beach, picnic areas, and lake swimming. The campground is situated between two lakes and is full-facility. Lakefront cabins are also available, as well as primitive and equestrian camp sites.
