The Aiguille Rock Climbing Center is the only dedicated rock climbing center in Central Florida, offering 10,000 square feet of climbing space up to 36 feet high. The walls have been designed to accommodate the beginner as well as to challenge the experienced climber. Bouldering, the simplest type of climbing, features shorter walls, minimal instruction, and no need for a rope or harness. Top-roping, the most common type of climbing for walk-ins at Aiguille, requires at least two people: the climber and the one who controls the rope as the climber ascends and descends. Lead Climbing, or Sport Climbing, is a more advanced type of climbing, and classes are available for those who wish to learn this sport. They provide all the equipment you would need as well as thorough instructions.
