Let the Memories Begin! The Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom has been in the memory-making business since 1971, and it is still the top vacation destination for millions of people from all over the world. The Park is divided up into six unique “lands” branching out from the iconic Cinderella’s Castle. As you enter the park, you are greeted by the colorful sights and sounds of Main Street U.S.A. Here you will find plenty of shops, guest services, and first aid. Located within the Fire House on Main Street is one of the “Training Facilities” for the popular, interactive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game (The other Training Facility is in the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square). To the left of the Castle is Adventure Land, where you can meet Captain Jack Sparrow and other fierce pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean. Next is Frontier Land, which is home to the wild Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. The next Land is Liberty Square, which features the Hall of Presidents and the Haunted Mansion. Located just beyond the Castle is Fantasy Land, where fairy tales and storybooks are brought to life. Take part in the adventures by soaring through Neverland with Peter Pan, touring Belle’s provincial town, careening through the mines with Snow White’s dwarves, and interact with the heroes and villains themselves with the Land’s many character experience opportunities. To the right of the Castle is Tomorrow Land, where guests are transported to the futuristic home of Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear. The Magic Kingdom Railroad Steam Train encircles the Park and makes stops at Main Street, Frontier Land, and Fantasy Land. In addition to the rides, the park offers a variety of entertainment such as parades, street parties, shows in front of Cinderella’s Castle, a nightly fireworks show, and plenty of opportunities to meet Disney characters.
